We attended our First NMDA (National Miniature Donkey Association) Nationals and had a great time! Admittedly, I was a nervous wreck prior to entering the ring. Macy Lee (Designer Donkeys Macy Lee,  Sire: Circle C Corona  X  Dam: Big Woods LN Miss Berri) was entered in the 2-3 Year Jennet Halter class and was extremely excited to perform. The class was extremely large and we were so honored and tickled to receive a Fifth Place ribbon in heavy competition. Wow, the show bug has hit us hard!!!!!

There were lots of big names from the Miniature Donkey World in attendance and several farms from Texas did well, congratulations to all the winners.

Katrina is in the ring with Macy Lee and is preparing for the Judge’s viewing.

These are some tired donkeys. It is surprising how much a few minutes in the ring can take out of a donkey and its handler.
